| 1 | So, You
Inherited a Doll Collection? We can fashion, clean, dress, appraise and completely restore any or all of the dolls. In fact, if you own ten or more, you can be a bona fide collector. When selecting the clothing, Clare encourages the owners to choose colors that will compliment their interior decorating.

| 3 | Can
you recommend a reputable doll hospital in my area? I do not know all the doll doctors and for me to recommend someone and not know their quality of work may prove to be disastrous for you. |
|
| 4 | How
much will it cost? Just a ballpark figure. We need to see the project before giving estimates so we are not misled by descriptions and photos. Being there are thousands of dolls and plush toys, they come in all sizes and materials and over the years they have all sorts of joints and adaptations and parts. We will be much more accurate when we see and examine your treasure! |

| 5 | How
do you restore the face, wig, clothing, lace, etc.? We can give you options in most cases so you have some choices but it's impossible to describe all the procedures used in restoration. Perhaps a phone call would help you, or refer back to my web site to see the completed work we do. |
|
| 6 | How
long will this take? Some projects can be done in a short time if nothing has to be ordered or made, while bisque, china, and composition will take 6 months to 1 year. We have 200 to 300 "patients" in the hospital (busier at Christmas time) and there are 10 doctors and nurses who continually keep working to restore your treasures. |

| 7 | Would
you be able to dress my doll like my wedding dress or my daughters? YES! This is a wonderful way to give a keepsake gift. You provide the doll or we can. The eyes can be changed to the right color and hair also with the former style. Think ahead on this one - please. |

| 8 | Would
you give me some referrals in regard to your work? |
|
| 9 | How
would you recommend my shipping? Pack very carefully by giving enough room in the firm box to be a couple of inches away from the sides of the box. Pampers wrap around fragile objects or the heads. Insure when necessary!!! Do not use DOLL HOSPITAL on the box so no one need know "what" is out traveling. UPS tracks well -IF- necessary and we've used them for 30 years. Keep your receipts! When shipping a bisque doll head that has glass eyes, it would be wise to lift the wig and pate (covering) and gently stuff the head with kleenex or tissue paper to keep the eyes from falling loose in travel and cracking the head. |

| 10 | Do
you have dresses, shoes, stands, etc. for my 21-inch doll? We have 20 women that sew for the shop and 4 of them do custom sewing - so send a picture, drawing or photo for us to copy (we will return it with the doll). You may also send the exact material. At least state the size measurements and the preferred color choices. We need your entire name and address and phone, plus fax, work number and e-mail when available, so please include them in the package and give us a few days to get a work order back to you. |
|
| 11 | Can
you tell me about my doll and its value? Yes, I will identify your doll OR appraise it for insurance purposes. Price does vary. |
